This is the first of the resources we will be sharing—used, tested and recommended by us, Gallagher Innovations, in the course of developing websites on WordPress—SiteGround.

Initially, we were hosting our WordPress websites on BlueHost, since that’s the main hosting company suggests. We quickly switched due to many security issues we read about, with BlueHost randomly taking down sites, often without any warning. Then we were massively put off when we realized there was no way to create a support ticket, having to rely merely on phone and chat support. The chat support turned out to be wholly unsatisfactory too, having never actually been able to connect with a technician! Chatting with fellow WordPress website builders, we discovered that SiteGround is very well recommended and so we switched over. At $3.95/mo for their StartUp package, which includes a free domain for the duration of the account, it’s a no-brainer really. We’re happy to report that so far it’s been a pretty painless experience, with great customer service! Oh, and since we switched, SiteGround has been added to’s preferred hosting list too, which is a testament to their top notch service.
